So you don't blow up a spawn by accident. Tag the last support ship. You can access the tag option by forming a gang with one of your alts. Then right click the ship and select a tag for it.

Another tip is to use secure cans on the belts as well. When the rats turn up, move to the next belt. You don't have to worry about your can popping or someone blowing them for you.
